The final tally is in and it’s official: Mercedes Terrell has landed the cover of our 2014 Screaming O Calendar, and it’s all because of YOU!

This year we did something a little different and put the fans in charge of choosing our coveted cover girl, and one professional poseur in particular swept the stage in just one short week of extreme online voting.

Ms. Mercedes not only will grace the cover of our upcoming sexy swimsuit calendar, but she also will receive a cool $1,000 cash (in the form of one of those fun giant checks) to help celebrate this momentous occasion. And she has her loyal fans to thank for it!

This year we brought the model mayhem to a water studio in the middle of the desert and got hot and bothered (literally, it was 99 degrees out) as photographers snapped away. The theme was simple – teeny tiny bikinis in our signature red and white – and the ladies splished and splashed under the sun while the rest of us discreetly practiced our breast stroke.

The secret’s out so we’re taking you deep behind the scenes at The Screaming O’s high-fashion photo-shoot, which captured 8 bikini-clad beauties – one a Playboy Playmate! – posing for our 2014 swimsuit calendar. We thought you’d like a sneak peek of what’s coming your way!

And you would have, too, if you were upthisclose with 2013 Playboy Playmate Kristen Sanne. But every model had a silly streak and we had no idea what some of these gals had up their sleeves. One of our favorite memorable moments was when Mercedes Terrell went missing only to reappear wearing a skin-tight Wonderwoman uniform. Her superhero antics might not have made it into the calendar, but most of the crew felt safe (and excited) knowing that Mercedes was there to save the day.
